Henry Schein Named As One Of FORTUNE's Largest 300 Corporations In America

MELVILLE, N.Y., May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC), the world's largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, medical and animal health practitioners, announced today it now ranks #296 on the FORTUNE 500® list, marking its first appearance among America's 300 largest corporations since debuting at #487 in 2004.

The FORTUNE 500 list is an annual ranking of America's largest corporations based on total revenues for their respective fiscal years. Included in the survey are companies that are incorporated in the U.S. and operate in the U.S. and file financial statements with a government agency.

Henry Schein had net sales in 2012 of $8.9 billion, up from $4.1 billion when it first made the FORTUNE 500 list in 2004. The company has grown at a compound annual rate of 17 percent since Henry Schein became a public company in 1995.
