Chief Operating Officer
Our Chief Operating Officer since February 2009. Prior to February 2009, Mr. Smith was our Executive Vice President, Merchandising and Marketing from July 2006 to January 2009. For eight years prior to assuming this role, Mr. Smith held merchandising and marketing positions of increasing responsibility with Fred Meyer Stores, a division of The Kroger Company. Immediately prior to joining us, Mr. Smith was Senior Vice President, General Merchandise of Fred Meyer Stores.

For the twenty-two years prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Haverkost held positions of increasing responsibility with Fred Meyer Stores, a division of The Kroger Company.
