|Webster Banker Honored as Outstanding Woman in Business|
WATERBURY, Conn., April 9, 2012 – The Hartford Business Journal has named Rosemary Gaidos one of the eight Outstanding Women in Business. Gaidos, who is senior vice president, bank operations, security and facilities at Webster Bank, is featured in the April 9th issue of the HBJ along with the other outstanding senior level executives, entrepreneurs, and CEO’s who are highly regarded in their respective industries.
Rose’s responsibilities include overseeing the implications and implementation of banking regulations. She joined Webster Bank in 2005 and has been promoted several times during her tenure.
Rose earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts. She is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and a Certified Risk Professional.

Rose regularly speaks at conferences like the American Bankers Association and Junior Achievement of Connecticut. She is a former Chairman of Webster’s United Way Campaign who succeeded in leading a record fundraising goal during difficult economic times.
