Webster Bank Promotes Rosemary Gaidos to Director of Operations and Security

WATERBURY , Conn. , October 12, 2010 – Webster Bank announces the promotion of Rosemary Gaidos, senior vice president, to the position of director of operations, shared services, overseeing all of Webster's back-office operations, including deposit operations, consumer and commercial loan processing. Gaidos will also maintain her current responsibilities for corporate security, financial intelligence, loss prevention management, and information security.

Gaidos joined Webster in 2005 from Bank of America as Webster's chief compliance officer and subsequently became the bank's chief compliance and operational risk officer. At Bank of America and predecessor banks, Gaidos held a series of progressively more responsible positions in risk management, compliance, and audit.

A native of Springfield , Mass. , she earned her bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, and Certified Risk Professional.
