|Webster Bank Appoints Kimberly Schierholz SVP - Group Manager for Business & Professional Banking|
WATERBURY , Conn. , August 16, 2010 – Webster Bank, N.A., the main subsidiary of Webster Financial Corporation (NYSE: WBS), has appointed Kimberly Schierholz to senior vice president – group manager, business and professional banking.
In this position, Schierholz oversees the commercial loan portfolio for the business and professional banking division and serves as the primary liaison to the underwriting, closing and operations, and compliance groups that support the department.
Schierholz joined Webster in 1996 and has held a series of positions including; vice president - partnership development; vice president - business development officer; and assistant vice president - credit officer. Prior to joining Webster, she worked in a variety of positions for BankBoston Connecticut .
Schierholz has a BS in business administration/finance from Bryant University in Smithfield , R.I.
