| LP Names Mike Blosser Vice President of Environmental, Health and Safety |
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 2007--Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP)(NYSE:LPX) announced today that it named Mike Blosser as vice president of environmental, health and safety (EH&S). Blosser, 45, joined the company in 1999 when LP acquired ABTCO, where he had worked for 15 years. Most recently, Blosser served as manufacturing manager for LP's Siding business. He holds an MBA from Babcock Graduate School of Management, Wake Forest University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. "Mike has deep leadership, technical and operational skills that will be invaluable in leading LP's environmental and safety groups," said LP CEO Rick Frost.
