Thursday, June 29, 2017. Banco Santander Chile (NYSE: BSAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Claudio Soto as Chief Economist, effective as of July 24, 2017. He will be leading the Research team in matters related to macroeconomic and financial markets in the Finance Division.

Claudio has previously worked as coordinator for Macroeconomic Policy in the Ministry of Finance and in different roles at the Central Bank of Chile such as the manager of Macroeconomic Analysis, manager of the Models and Projections Department and senior economist of the Research Division.
