(NYSE: MOS) plans to issue its first quarter fiscal year 2009 earnings results
and financial tables on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, after the close of trading
on the New York Stock Exchange. Results will be available on Mosaic's website

The Company plans to conduct a conference call with presentation slides on Thursday, October 2, 2008, to discuss the results.
