Briggs & Stratton Corporation today announced the publication of the company's second annual Sustainability Report. This report outlines Briggs & Stratton's commitment to sustainability efforts and initiatives, which build on its 103-year legacy of environmental stewardship, community involvement, social responsibility, and economic performance. Furthermore, it highlights the progress Briggs & Stratton has made in the area of sustainability during the past two years.

The world's largest producer of gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment, Briggs & Stratton holds a long record of responsible manufacturing. For decades, the company has continuously worked to reduce emissions from its products, and it is dedicated to minimizing the environmental footprint while increasing its positive impact on the community.

• Signing the DOE Save Energy Now Pledge, where Briggs & Stratton pledged to reduce their energy intensity by 25% over the next 10 years.
• Conversion of underused parking lot into 5 acres of green space.
