Mad Catz Extends Agreement with Activision; Will Create Call of Duty: Black Ops Game Accessories

SAN DIEGO, Jun 01, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (NYSEAmex/TSX: MCZ), a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, announced today that pursuant to an extension of its video/PC game accessories agreement with Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), it will produce officially branded controllers and accessories based on the upcoming Call of Duty(R): Black Ops(TM) videogame by Activision's award-winning developer, Treyarch. The agreement gives Mad Catz exclusive global rights to a range of accessories for the title, which is scheduled for worldwide release on November 9, 2010.
