SPARKS, Md., June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- McCormick & Company, Incorporated (NYSE: MKC), a global leader in flavor, today announced that Michael Conway, President, Global Channel Development for Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ: SBUX), has been appointed to the Board of Directors of McCormick effective May 27, 2015.
Mr. Conway is a Senior Officer and Executive Team Member with full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the global $1.5 billionStarbucks consumer packaged goods, licensed store and foodservice business. He has responsibility for all commercial and business strategy functions and is driving aggressive plans to expand into emerging international markets.
Prior to Starbucks, Mr. Conway served as worldwide President of McNeil Nutritional, a division of Johnson & Johnson, where he was responsible for global strategy and P&L delivery for McNeil Nutritionals across five franchises - SPLENDA, NECTRESSE, LACTAID, BENECOL and VIACTIV. Mr. Conway also spent 10 years at Campbell Soup Co. where he rose to Vice President of Marketing for the Adult Simple Meals Division.
