Compuware Completes Acquisition Of Vireo Software, Inc.
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- October 22, 1998 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the technology assets of Massachusetts-based Vireo Software, a privately held provider of Windows device driver software tools.

"Vireo's products are highly complementary to the SoftICE product line," said Omar Hussain, General Manager of the NuMega product line. "The addition of Vireo's products will enable Compuware to provide comprehensive solutions for building, debugging and implementing device drivers for Windows."

Vireo's development team will become a part of Compuware's Nashua, NH development lab.
