OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ferrellgas
Partners, L.P. (NYSE: FGP) today declared its second-quarter cash distribution
of $0.50 per partnership common unit. The distribution marks the 58th
consecutive $0.50 quarterly distribution and is payable March 17, 2009, to
common unitholders of record as of March 10, 2009.
The distribution covers the period from November 1, 2008 to January 31,
2009, the partnership's second quarter of fiscal 2009. Ferrellgas' annualized
distribution is currently $2.00 per common unit.
Additionally, Ferrellgas Partners, L.P. will hold its second-quarter
fiscal 2009 earnings teleconference on Tuesday, March 10, at 9 A.M. Eastern
Time. Interested parties are invited to listen to management's discussion of

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James E. Ferrell commented, "We
expect to report that the first-quarter's favorable momentum carried over into
the second quarter. Moreover, we are comfortable with our prior guidance of
$255 million in Adjusted EBITDA for the full fiscal year." The partnership
reported Adjusted EBITDA of $222 million for fiscal 2008 and a record $237
million in fiscal 2007.
