Candie's Teams Up With MTV's Famous Daughter, Kelly Osbourne

Company Announces Agreement With 'The Osbourne's' Star For Its Fall Advertising Campaign

Candie's, Inc., (Nasdaq: CAND) has announced today it has signed an agreement with Kelly Osbourne, star of MTV's highest rated show in the music channel's history, "The Osbournes." Kelly is joining recently announced R&B Princess, Ashanti, and Pop musician, Vanessa Carlton as the company's new spokeswomen for its fall national advertising campaign. This is the first endorsement contract for Kelly Osbourne.

Seventeen-year-old Kelly Osbourne's rendition of Madonna's, "Papa Don't Preach," is featured on "The Osbourne Family" Album, and MTV has signed "The Osbourne's" for a second season.

Kelly is the company's third artist to be announced for its fall print campaign. Each artist appears separately in her own ad that portrays a playful, sexy fashion image with a twist, allowing each girl the freedom of self-expression. Kelly's print ads will break in October issues of fashion, entertainment and lifestyle magazines, such as YM, CosmoGirl!, Seventeen, and Teen People.

Commenting on Candie's, Kelly stated, "Candie's past ads have been really cool, and you always remember them. I was honored to be part of the campaign."

The campaign was created by Candie's in-house creative team, and was shot by famed fashion photographer, Tony Duran. The campaign features Candie's Fall '02 footwear, apparel and accessories available at better department, specialty stores, as well as Candie's own retail stores. The company's previous campaign featured music's hottest trio, Destiny's Child.
