Iconix Brand Group Announces International License Agreement for Joe Boxer in Mexico

NEW YORK, Oct 26, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Iconix Brand Group, Inc., (Nasdaq: ICON) (the "Company") announced today an international licensing agreement for its JOE BOXER(R) brand with Grupo Aviara, SA De CV, a leading apparel company in Mexico. The long term agreement covers a wide range of categories including men's, women's and children's apparel, accessories and footwear as well as home furnishings. Grupo Aviara has planned an initial distribution of JOE BOXER products in approximately 125 retail stores to launch in March 2006.

Founded in 1984, Grupo Aviara is focused on licensing and distributing brands through various retail channels in the Mexican and Latin American markets. Their brand portfolio includes Lacoste, Cherokee, XOXO, Miss Sixty, Energie, Anne Klein, Gant, and others which are distributed from high end retailers to value priced chains.
