was awarded the Wal-Mart "Big Bet" Award, for the successful launch of the
Company's Op(R) brand and the re-launch of the Company's Starter(R) and
Danskin Now(R) brands.
The "Big Bet" Award was bestowed upon Iconix for successfully leveraging
its opportunities with Wal-Mart at Wal-Mart's Annual Apparel Summit where the
"Suppliers of the Year" Awards are granted.
The "Big Bet" was presented to Neil Cole, Chairman and CEO of Iconix, by
the Senior Vice President and GM of Apparel, Dottie Mattison and Executive
Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, John Fleming, of Wal-Mart
Stores.
Op, Starter and Danskin Now have Direct-to-Retail licenses in place with
Wal-Mart and are available nationwide. In addition, the brands have recently
begun rolling out to Wal-Mart international stores, including Canada and
Mexico.
