Linda Kennedy has been with West Marine since 1993. In her current position as Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Kennedy is responsible for all Associate programs including recruiting, employment, maintaining excellent Quality of Work Life, training programs, leadership development, succession planning, compensation, benefits, Risk Management, legal compliance, Payroll and safety.

Linda has been actively involved in boating her whole life; from water skiing on inland lakes while growing up, to sailing the California coast and Monterey Bay today. She was crew onboard West Marine’s Santa Cruz 40, ProMotion in the 1998 West Marine Pacific Cup San Francisco to Kaneohe Bay, Oahu race. This Pacific passage is still ProMotion’s quickest at 10 days, 16 hours and 44 minutes.
