Amazon Fashion’s ‘The Drop’ Launches Limited Edition, Made-on-Demand SS19 Fashion Collection with Patricia Bright

London, July 9 2019: Amazon Fashion has launched a limited edition SS19 collection with Patricia Bright (@thepatriciabright) via its new and innovative shopping experience, The Drop (www.amazon.co.uk/thedrop) which brings Amazon customers products designed by fashion influencers from around the world. This is the first collection to launch through the program from a British influencer and is Patricia Bright’s first fashion collection.

Talking about the collection, Patricia Bright said, “I wanted to design a fun and feminine capsule collection for people who like to mix up their style, just like me.  My aim with each piece was to bring the vibe of summer, lots of colour, and to get the right balance of elegance and playful to satisfy all tastes. This collection represents everything I love to wear, inspired by my audience and my travels. I hope everyone will love it.”

The 13 piece collection, which is described by Patricia as ‘Day-to-daring Summer Styles’, includes a pink suit, a pink skirt, a camel blazer dress, a camel wide leg pant and a selection of puff sleeve and ruffled tops in different colours and prints. The collection is available exclusively for 30 hours from 12:00pm GMT on Tuesday 9 July until 18.00pm GMT on Wednesday 10 July at www.amazon.co.uk/thedrop, on both mobile and desktop.  To shop via mobile, customers should open the Amazon App, select ‘Programs and Features’ in the Main Menu, and click ‘The Drop’, or simply search www.amazon.co.uk/thedrop via their mobile browser.  

“The Drop is our latest innovation to bring our customers fashion trends from around the world,” said John Boumphrey, Vice President of Amazon Fashion Europe.  “We partner with influencers to enable them to bring their fashion inspiration direct to our customers.  Each collection is live for 30 hours and we make each piece only when a customer orders it.”

Previous collections from Amazon Fashion’s The Drop have launched with LA influencer Paolo Alberdi (@paolaalberdi) and Canadian influencer Sierra Furtado (@sierrafurtado) and future collections are launching every few weeks with upcoming names including Emi Suzuki (@emisuzuki_official), Leonie Hanne (@leoniehanne), and Charlotte Groeneveld (@thefashionguitar). Customers can sign-up for text alerts at www.amazon.co.uk/thedrop to get notifications of new collections.

In addition to limited-edition collections, Amazon Fashion’s The Drop also offers ‘Staples by The Drop’ which are must-have wardrobe pieces which complement the influencer designed collections. Styles within Staples by The Drop are available all the time at www.amazon.co.uk/thedrop, via the Amazon App, mobile browser or desktop.
