Chidera Eggerue Showcases Her Confident Style with Amazon Fashion

21/11/2018

Amazon Fashion has teamed up with Chidera Eggerue, social activist, writer, feminist and fashionista, to select her favourite confidence boosting looks for AW18 from Amazon Fashion.

Popularly known as @theslumflower, Chidera has curated five inspiring looks from Amazon Fashion that celebrate this season’s key trends and her individual style. Chidera’s creative and confident approach to fashion is evident in her selection, which features Scandi and classic British brands including Sparkz Copenhagen, Day Birger and New Look.

Speaking about working with Amazon Fashion Chidera said, “I’ve had a lot of fun browsing the expansive selection of brands available at Amazon Fashion and selecting my key pieces for Autumn/Winter. I’ve created six head-to-toe looks that are perfect for me to slay this season! I enjoy styling up my outfits, adding my own personal touch and had an awesome time discovering wardrobe gems that complement my individual style perfectly.”

The looks created by Chidera reflect her message of body confidence and include a mix of figure hugging slip dresses, jumpsuits and streamlined tailoring which showcase the variety of brands and styles available at Amazon Fashion. Key pieces include textural teddy bear style coats from Sparkz Copenhagen and Ichi that are seen layered with knitted roll necks and slinky evening wear, whilst graphic prints, stripes and bright colours are teamed with Chidera’s wardrobe staple, a pair of killer boots.

Chidera also said, “I was particularly impressed by the huge selection of boot at Amazon Fashion. High heels make me feel like the boss that I am, so I was pleased to see some of my favourite brands and styles on there! The six looks I have curated are a true reflection of what happens when a boots addict is left to run loose at Amazon Fashion HQ – somebody stop me!”

Photographed by world-renowned photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce in one of Chidera’s favourite spots around Hoxton, East London, Chidera models her Amazon Fashion picks in a series of street-style inspired images.

“Chidera’s looks are a true reflection of her eclectic style and body confidence and it has been so exciting seeing her take on the selection we have available at Amazon Fashion. We want all of our customers to be able to find styles that suit them so it made sense to work with someone who devotes so much energy to empowering people to be themselves. Chidera was the perfect match for us.” Said Nick Pope, Category Leader for Clothing at Amazon Fashion.

Chidera’s Amazon Fashion pieces are all available to shop now here where customers can enjoy free returns and a wide range of convenient delivery options including unlimited one-day delivery for Amazon Prime members.
