Sony Pictures Television’s anime service, FunimationNow, joins Amazon Prime Video Channels in the UK for £4.99 per month

FunimationNow offers Prime members who add on the service hundreds of new and classic anime shows and movies, from popular series such as My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan, to new shows like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and SSSS Gridman

London – Monday 12 November 2018 - Amazon adds anime fan favourite FunimationNow to its line-up of Prime Video Channels, becoming the first Sony Pictures Television service to launch on Prime Video in the UK.

For an add on subscription of £4.99 per month with a 7-day free trial, Prime members who subscribe to FunimationNow will have access to hundreds of new and classic anime shows and movies ad-free, with English subtitles and dubbing.

At launch FunimationNow will bring Prime members popular anime shows such as My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Black Clover, Overlord and Assassination Classroom.

Prime members can also look forward to brand new anime releases this autumn, including That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, SSSS Gridman and the final season of Fairy Tail, all with English subtitles and dubbing available.

Starting today, FunimationNow will be available for the first time in the UK with an add on subscription of just £4.99 per month with a 7-day free trial via the existing Prime Video app to watch in the UK anytime, anywhere on smart TVs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets and games consoles and through the web at www.amazon.co.uk/channels. Prime members in the UK will be able to access on demand content with the convenience of a single account, login and user experience through Prime Video so there’s no need to jump from app to app.

Customers who subscribe to FunimationNow can also look forward to soon getting access to new shows with English subtitles the day after they air in Japan, with English dubbed versions available a couple of weeks later.
