The digital manufacturing company’s VP and CTO recognized as a top IT
executive in the Minnesota region
MAPLE PLAIN, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 4, 2016--
Proto Labs’ Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Don
Krantz, has been chosen as an honoree in Minneapolis/St. Paul Business
Journal’s 2016 Titans of Technology awards. Recipients were selected by
the publication’s editorial team and a panel of industry experts.
According to the Minneapolis-based magazine, the third-annual awards
honor “the region’s outstanding technology professionals” with Krantz
receiving honors in the CIO/CTO category as a “top IT executive of a
public, private or nonprofit company.”
Krantz has been with Proto Labs — a software-driven digital
manufacturing company that specializes in custom prototypes and
low-volume production parts — for more than 10 years and has served in
his current role for the past two years. He has a Ph.D. in Computer and
Information Science from the University of Minnesota and has held
previous positions at MTS Systems, Alliant Techsystems and Honeywell
Defense Systems.
