As of March 31, 2012, Bridgepoint Education had a total student enrollment (ground/campus and online) of 94,863 at Ashford University and University of the Rockies.
Bridgepoint Education’s initial public stock offering was April 15, 2009 at a share price of $10.50 per share.
As of December 31, 2011, Bridgepoint had approximately 3,900 full time and adjunct faculty members. Our adjunct faculty are part-time employees and are engaged on a course-by-course basis. As of December 31, 2011, the company also employed more than 5,000 non-faculty staff in university services, academic advising and support, enrollment services, university administration, financial services, information technology, human resources, corporate accounting, finance, and other administrative functions.
