Christopher (Chris) Breakiron is the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS), the nation’s leading provider of mortgage processing services, settlement services, mortgage performance analytics and outsourcing services for financial institutions, mortgage companies and real estate professionals. More than 50 percent of all U.S. residential mortgages are processed using LPS’ servicing software.

In his role as LPS’ Chief Accounting Officer, Chris oversees the financial consolidation, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, purchasing, enterprise financial planning and analysis, and financial systems functions of the company.

Prior to joining LPS, Chris served as Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), a Fortune 150 company providing technology solutions, processing services and information-based services to the financial services industry. Before that, Chris worked as Senior Vice-President and Controller of International Card Services for Certegy, Inc., a global payment services provider, where he managed the finance, pricing, accounting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance functions.

Chris earned B.S. and M.B.A. degrees in Accounting from The University of Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
