Steven D. Arnold was elected to the Board of Directors of Spectra Energy Partners GP, LLC in May 2007 and chairs our Audit Committee and serves on the Conflicts Committee. Mr. Arnold currently serves as President of 3 Lights Management Co., a private investment management and consulting services firm in Houston, Texas, and has served in this capacity since 2000. Prior to that from 1988 to 1999, Mr. Arnold served in roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President from December 1996 to April 1999, for Prudential Capital Group, a unit of The Prudential Insurance Company of America. Mr. Arnold received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in 1983 and his Master of Business Administration from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School at Rice University in 1988.
