Costa Cruises and the World of 3D: A Personalised Statuette on Board the Costa Diadema

Genoa, 5 November 2015 – A vacation is always a special occasion. For its guests Costa Cruises has come up with a truly unique souvenir to remember those great moments on board: a 3D scale statuette.

The Italian company is offering this exclusive service thanks to its partnership with Labs3D, an innovative 3D design studio based in Spain.

Onboard experts will complete a body scan in just a few minutes: after immortalizing every detail of a figure, from hairstyle to arm position, the file generated by the program is sent in total security to the Labs3D studio in Barcelona, where it will be processed before printing and creating a miniature 3D reproduction of that person.

From this moment on Costa guests can get back to relaxing and enjoying their voyage because the 3D statuette will be delivered directly to their home: an even more convenient way to take back an unusual and original souvenir of the cruise, without adding any weight in their luggage.

The 3D reproductions are available in 5 different sizes  (13 cm, 15 cm, 17 cm, 19 cm and 21 cm), and at a special price, for Costa guests only, starting from €89 + shipping expenses.

All guests travelling on board the Costa Diadema, the fleet’s flagship and the ambassador of Italy’s finest around the world, will be able to experience all the excitement of having their own miniature statuette during the ship’s 7-day cruises in the western Mediterranean.
