Airline to Add Service to Sacramento, Calif. from Charlotte, N.C.
and Philadelphia and to Tucson, Ariz. from Charlotte
TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 25, 2008--US Airways
(NYSE:LCC) ramps up its summer schedule with three new
transcontinental routes. Beginning on June 3, the airline will begin
new nonstop service from its two largest hubs at Charlotte-Douglas
International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport to
California's capital city of Sacramento. US Airways will also start
service from its Charlotte hub to Tucson, Ariz.
US Airways' Senior Vice President, Schedule Planning and Alliances

giving customers in Sacramento and Tucson nonstop access to our two
largest hubs, opening up hundreds of connecting opportunities across
the eastern half of the United States and to Europe and the

In addition to these three new routes and back by popular demand
US Airways will again be offering seasonal transcontinental service to
Portland, Ore. from Charlotte and Philadelphia. The Charlotte flight
resumes on June 3 with Philadelphia's first of two seasonal flights to
Portland resuming March 2 with the second trip set for June 3.
