|PetSmart Promotes Jaye Perricone to Senior Vice President of Real Estate|
|PHOENIX, AZ, Jan 07, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- PetSmart, Inc., (NASDAQ: PETM) has promoted Jaye Perricone to senior
vice president, Real Estate, reporting to Phil Francis, chairman and
chief executive officer. Perricone will lead the full spectrum of
PetSmart's Real Estate activities including Real Estate Site
Selection, Construction, Lease Administration, Business Services,
Procurement Services, Fixtures and Equipment, and Facilities
A veteran leader with 15 years experience at PetSmart and a predecessor company, Perricone joined PetSmart as an area manager when the company acquired the PetStuff chain in 1995.
"Jaye has an intimate knowledge of this company from an operational, developmental and real estate perspective," Francis said. "She is a proven and dynamic leader and her depth of experience, energy and vision will help drive us forward as we continue to grow and mature as a company."
Perricone had served as vice president, Real Estate for the past year. Previously, she served in a number of leadership roles including regional vice president, vice president of Services Operations, vice president of Customer Service & Store Operations, and vice president of Property Management and Store Design. Prior to PetSmart, Perricone held various positions with Target, Pace Membership Warehouse and Bizmart. She also has completed the Stanford Executive Program.
Perricone is a pet parent to two dogs, Bandit and Nino, and a cat named Tiger.
