Koppers concurrently announced the appointment of Ian Doherty as Vice President, China Operations, to replace Mr. Bryon effective March 1, 2008. Mr. Doherty, 42, will assume responsibility for all Asian business operations and development for Koppers. Mr. Doherty relocated to Beijing, China in September 2005 as Regional Manager, Business Development, Marketing and Sales, and in July 2007 he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager, China. Mr. Doherty began working for Koppers in 2001 as a marketing manager in Australia. In his new capacity, Mr. Doherty will report to Kevin J. Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President, Global Carbon Materials & Chemicals.
