Schaffhausen, Switzerland, December 18, 2009 -- Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NYSE: STP), the world's leading manufacturer of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules, today announced it has appointed Vincenzo Quintani as new Country Head in Italy. Mr Quintani joined Suntech in September 2009 from thin film manufacturer Unisolar where he was responsible for building a sales network in Southern Europe. He has 16 years of management and sales experience working across a number of sectors including renewables. Mr Quintani holds a masters degree in electronic engineering from the University La Spienza in Rome.
