RBC Bearings World Headquarters Relocating to Oxford

Fairfield, CT – June 10 2004) RBC Bearings, a well-known, global manufacturer of highly-engineered, precision bearing products for the industrial, aerospace, and defense markets, has announced that it is moving its corporate headquarters from Fairfield to Oxford, Connecticut. An early fall move-in is anticipated. The facility, located on Willenbrock Road in Oxford, was built in 1988 and is currently undergoing renovation to evenutally accommodate up to 150 corporate and manufacturing employees.

The 44,000 sq. ft. building will house RBC's corporate offices, manufacturing, information technology, engineering, and business development areas.

RBC, a privately-owned company with 16 facilities located throughout North America and Europe, employees approximately 1,300 employees worldwide. Supported by a global network of sales engineers, distributors, and authorized agents, the company produces bearings for a wide variety of applications throughout the aerospace, defense, transportation, construction, agriculture, robotics and automation, material handling and semiconductor equipment industries.
