Washington Mutual Doubles ATM Locations In South Florida
Customers have convenient, fee-free access to money in 154 Walgreens stores

SEATTLE November 28, 2006- Washington Mutual, Inc. (NYSE:WM) has expanded its ATM network into Walgreens stores in scores of South Florida neighborhoods. The expansion doubles the number of locations where WaMu customers can make fee-free ATM withdrawals.

The move, part of an agreement with Cardtronics, Inc., adds 154 new places to access cash. By county, WaMu's expansion through Walgreens will add access to 75 ATMs in Broward; 74 in Miami-Dade; and, 5 in Monroe.

The bank has 135 retail banking stores in South Florida.

Customers may visit to locate all WaMu ATMs including the new locations across South Florida.
