SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2001--Washington Mutual, Inc. (NYSE:WM), the nation's seventh largest financial services company, today announced its agreement with Monster.com(R), the leading global online careers site and flagship brand of TMP Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq:TMPW).
Monster.com will power an innovative package of online recruiting tools and services for Washington Mutual. Washington Mutual's human resources professionals can now post over 1,600 job openings in 42 states nationwide online at its corporate website, www.wamu.com.
This special recruiting package will assist Washington Mutual's human resources professionals in finding the most qualified candidates nationwide, as jobs are searchable according to geographic region and job type. Monster.com will power the job listings site for Washington Mutual and provide Monster's advanced online application technology. Potential employees can submit their applications online or download the application and fill it out manually.
