Build-A-Bear Workshop Guests Enter Sweepstakes to Win Tickets to Game 1 of the 2007 World Series(R)

ST. LOUIS, Apr 03, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Build-A-Bear Workshop(R) and Major League Baseball(R) Properties are teaming up to play ball again this year by giving fans across the country more ways to support their favorite teams. For the first time ever, Guests who visit any participating Build-A-Bear Workshop store can enter for a chance to win tickets to Game 1 of the 2007 World Series(R) or a secondary prize of the entire assortment of the make-your-own MLB(R) Mascot collection, available exclusively at Build-A-Bear Workshop ballpark stores.

Guests can register for the sweepstakes at any participating Build-A-Bear Workshop store or any of the company's in-stadium stores beginning March 19-April 9. The in-stadium stores carry a full line of new and officially licensed MLB stuffed animals, branded team mascots and bear-sized clothing and accessories.

Make-your-own stuffed animals range from $18-$24 and can be geared up in officially licensed, team specific clothing. New for 2007, the Make Your Own Fredbird(TM) store will carry World Series(R) Fredbird(TM), wearing an individually numbered collector's medallion. All five stores will offer an updated cuddly Ballpark Bear with the stadium logo on its paw. Arriving in May, stores will offer their first ever Tie Dye Teddy branded to the team. Outfits range from $6-$15 and new additions this year include a team letterman jacket, rhinestone tops, pink tie dye clothes and stylish pajamas with matching mascot slippers! Fans can celebrate the first pitch with 2007 Opening Day match-up logo tees for their furry friend.
