Build-A-Bear Workshop® run for the stuffing contest winner to donate bears to local children’s hospital
Mara Campbell, the winner from the Build-A-Bear Workshop store, located at The Mall at Fairfield Commons, had others in mind while running through the store. On Wednesday, October 20th, Mara and her sister, Alyssa, will be donating the bears to young patients at Children's Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. The Build-A-Bear Workshop Mascot, Bearemy, will accompany the girls when they deliver these special bears to the children.
According to their mother, Debbie Campbell, Mara was extremely excited about winning the contest and immediately both girls were thinking of ways these bears could help other children in need. "I didn't want to keep them for myself. I wanted to share them with other children," said Mara.
