Build-A-Bear Workshop Raises Funds for Children’s Cancer Causes in Honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 4, 2012-- Build-A-Bear Workshop®, the interactive retailer of customized stuffed animals, is inviting Guests to visit stores across the country to help support children’s cancer causes from September 4 through September 16. Guests can make a donation of $1 (or more) to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Foundation when they check out at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the United States or online at buildabear.com®. In Canada, Guests can support the cause by purchasing purple satin hearts for $1 in all Canadian stores. In addition, throughout the year, Guests may purchase Champ- A Champion Fur Kids™ bear and for each Champ bear purchased, Build-A-Bear Workshop will donate $1 to support children’s cancer and other health and wellness causes.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Build-A-Bear Workshop has raised funds in support of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
