Cool Cats & Hot Dogs Ready for Summer Fun at Build-A-Bear Workshop
Two furry friends in the new collection help real pets
ST. LOUIS (May 18, 2011)- Build-A-Bear Workshop®, the interactive entertainment retailer of customized stuffed animals, is introducing a new line of stuffed animal friends, the Cool Cats & Hot Dogs Collection. These furry friends range in price from $18-$22 and are available starting May 20 at Build-A-Bear Workshop retail stores and online at buildabear.com®. The Cool Cats & Hot Dogs Collection includes:

- Bearemy’s Kennel Pals® Border Collie ($22)
- Bearemy’s Kennel Pals Dachshund ($22)
- Golden Pup ($20)
- Tabby Cat ($18)
- Siamese Cat ($20)
When Guests purchase a Bearemy’s Kennel Pals Border Collie or Dachshund, a $1 donation will be made to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation to help real pets. The funding is granted to support local animal shelters, stray pet rescue and rehabilitation organizations, and pet education programs throughout the United States and Canada.

These four-legged friends can be personalized with special sounds, like “Who Let the Dogs Out” ($6), a dog sound ($4) or a customized Build-A-Sound® message ($8) that a Guest records. The animals in this tail-wagging collection will look great in the sizzling styles Build-A-Bear Workshop has to offer. The Cool Cats & Hot Dogs can enjoy their summer in the latest swimwear or even a Hot Dog costume ($10). Rock ‘n’ roll doggies will look great in a skull hoodie and bandana that says “Bad to the Bone” ($10). Guests can also accessorize their furry friends with a leash and collar set that comes in red or fuchsia ($5), and there’s even a plush Frisbee ($2.50) that is a great toy for any pooch.
While supplies last, Guests who spend $25 or more will receive a free Cool Cats & Hot Dogs mesh beach bag. This bag is the perfect way to take a new furry friend around town in style. Each animal in the Cool Cats & Hot Dogs collection comes with an exclusive virtual gift that may be redeemed at Bearville.com™, the Build-A-Bear Workshop online entertainment destination and virtual world.
