SAN DIEGO, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioMed Realty Trust, Inc.
(NYSE: BMR) today announced the pricing of its public offering of 6,950,000
shares of its common stock at $28.75 per share. The offering is expected to
close on August 21, 2006. Gross proceeds from the offering will be
approximately $199.8 million. All of the shares are being sold by the
company.
Raymond James & Associates, Inc. is the sole book-running manager for the
offering, with Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, KeyBanc Capital Markets, a
division of McDonald Investments Inc., Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC, RBC
Capital Markets, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, and Robert W. Baird
& Co. Incorporated acting as co-managers. BioMed also granted the
underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,042,500 shares
to cover over-allotments, if any.
BioMed expects to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion
of the outstanding indebtedness under its existing $500.0 million revolving
credit facility.
