EnerSys Announces Initial Public Offering; Shares to Trade on the New York Stock Exchange Under Ticker Symbol

READING, Pa., July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EnerSys (NYSE: ENS) today announced the initial public offering of 12,500,000 shares of its common stock to the public at a price of $12.50 per share. EnerSys has also granted the underwriters an option to purchase an additional 1.875 million shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. We expect that EnerSys' common stock will begin trading this morning on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "ENS".
