RICHMOND, Va., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Genworth Financial
(NYSE: GNW) announced today that Fred Conley has joined the firm in a new
position as president and chief executive officer of its recently formed
Institutional Retirement Group. Conley reports to Pam Schutz, president and
chief executive officer of Retirement Income and Investments.
Conley joins Genworth with 20 years of financial services and benefits
consulting experience. Most recently, Conley served as executive vice
president of institutional sales at CitiStreet, the second largest 401(k)
service provider in the industry. Previously he served as a regional vice
president with American Express Retirement Services. Conley was also a
business development consultant with Hewitt Associates. He began his career
with UNUM (predecessor to UnumProvident) where he gained experience in account
management and sales.
A Saco, Maine native, Conley received a bachelor's degree from Columbia
College in New York City in 1985.
