Enrique Vasquez has been named president of its Personal Advisor Network
(PAN), which includes its growing broker-dealer, Terra Securities Corporation,
and 2,200 independent tax and financial planning professionals nationwide.
Vasquez brings 17 years of broad-based financial services experience to
his new role, including asset management, controllership, and financial
planning and analysis. As part of Genworth's business development team,
Vasquez played an instrumental role in the recent acquisition of Hochman &
Baker, Inc., which he helped integrate into PAN over several months while
gaining a deeper understanding of the unit he now leads. Vasquez, who holds an
MBA in International Business from Fordham, replaces Rob Methven, who was
named president of Genworth's Retirement Services Group in September of this
year.
In his new role, Vasquez will report directly to Pam Schutz, president and
chief executive officer of Genworth's Retirement Income & Investment business.
Concurrently, Howard Kite has been promoted to chief operating officer for
PAN. In his expanded role, he will leverage his 14 plus years of experience
leading various aspects of Genworth's broker-dealer organization.
