Company scores in six of eight categories on agent excellence
RICHMOND, Va., July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The Genworth Financial companies (Genworth) earned top honors in the recently released Agent's Sales Journal 2011 Life Insurance Carrier Report Card. Fifty three companies participated in the study. Companies included in the study were selected from a ranking of the top carriers active in the independent life brokerage distribution channel.
Genworth was cited for "carrier excellence" in six of the eight categories surveyed. The company landed two top spots including the category "Best Overall" at "meeting agents' overall needs in the life insurance market." Genworth also ranked number one under the "Most Preferred to Write" category for "companies with which agents write the most life business."
In addition to these top honors, Genworth tied for second in the category "Call Center/Telephone Support" as "best call center/telephone support for life insurance assistance." The company tied for third in the category of "Leads and Prospecting Help" as "most effective at providing producers with leads and prospecting help." And finally, Genworth tied for fourth in two categories including "Marketing Materials" for "most effective life insurance sales and marketing material" and in the category "Marketing and Advertising" for "best at promoting their products."
"It was very gratifying to see Genworth score so high in not only one or two categories but six out of the eight surveyed this year by Agent's Sales Journal," said Pat Foley, president, U.S. Life Companies Distribution & Marketing. "Our independent producers are at the heart of everything we do across all aspects of our business from products, to product materials, to lead generation to marketing and advertising. To earn these kinds of marks is of course very satisfying and motivates us to build on what we have accomplished to make our agent and customer experience even better."
