Genworth Financial Schedules Earnings Conference Call for July 30 and Comments on Capital Outlook

RICHMOND, Va., July 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Genworth Financial, Inc. (NYSE: GNW) today announced it would issue its earnings release and financial supplement containing second quarter results after the market closes on July 29, 2008. A conference call will be held on July 30, at 9 a.m. (ET) to discuss the quarter's results and outlook. At this time, the Company will provide a detailed report on business operations, progress on strategic priorities, and outline that it remains comfortable with its capital position and has no current plans to raise equity capital.
