James Wolf has served as Compass Minerals’ director of environment, health and safety since December 2005. His responsibilities include overseeing implementation of proactive environment, health and safety (EHS) programs that meet or exceed regulatory compliance requirements.

Prior to his appointment as director, Mr. Wolf held various positions within the department of environment, health and safety from 1992.

From 1987 through 1992, Mr. Wolf held a variety of technical and management positions with a national firm specializing in environmental remediation and hazardous waste treatment and disposal.

Mr. Wolf holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Kansas State University.
