Journal Communications to Present at CSFB Media Conference on December 7th

MILWAUKEE, Dec 1, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Journal Communications (NYSE:JRN) announced today that its executives will make a presentation at Credit Suisse First Boston's annual Media and Telecom Week held December 6-9, 2004 at the Plaza Hotel in New York, NY.

Steven J. Smith, Journal Communications' chairman and chief executive officer, Douglas G. Kiel, Journal Communications' president and CEO of Journal Broadcast Group, and Paul M. Bonaiuto, Journal Communications' executive vice president and chief financial officer, will discuss the Company's strategic and financial overview on Tuesday, December 7 at 11:15 a.m. (Eastern Time).

The presentation is being Webcast live, and both the audio portion and the slides will be available on the Journal Communications' Web site, www.jc.com/investors, beginning at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on December 7. The Web site includes instructions for accessing the Webcast, which will be available through Windows Media player.
