MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 2012--
Journal Community Publishing Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Journal
Communications, Inc. (NYSE:JRN), today announced the sale of its
publications and websites in Northern Wisconsin to Green Bay, WI-based
Multi-Media Channels, LLC (Brown County Publishing). Terms of the
transaction were not disclosed.
Included in the sale are buyer’s guide publications and corresponding
web-sites serving Waupaca, Marathon County, Wood County, Stevens Point,
Rhinelander, New London and Clintonville. The sale also includes The
North Star Journal and Foto News as well as subscriber-paid
publications Waupaca Co. Post East, Waupaca Co. Post West, and Silent
Sports magazine.
