MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2012--
Journal Communications, Inc. (NYSE:JRN), a diversified media company,
announced that Faith E. Perkins, SPHR, has been named Vice President -
Human Resources and will begin on August 27.
Ms. Perkins joins Journal from Cox Media Group, where she was Regional
Vice President Human Resources based in West Palm Beach, Florida. In
this role, she was a member of the senior leadership team and set HR
strategy to drive a high performance culture for diverse media
operations.

Prior to Cox, Perkins was Vice President Human Resources for Susquehanna
Pfaltzgraff Co. where she led Human Resources for the Susquehanna Radio
Division. Perkins was also a human resources manager at Hanover Direct,
a director of Human Resources at DNA Enterprises, and a Staffing Manager
at Fidelity Investments.
She received a Bachelor of Arts from Dallas Baptist University and is on
schedule to complete a Master of Science in Human Resources Development
from Villanova University in 2013. She is certified in the Birkman
Method for group development, and is a Senior Professional in Human
Resources (SPHR).
