Voluntary Report of Alleged Crimes
Click the links below to view Carnival Corporation & plc’s Voluntary Disclosure Report, reported quarterly, for the company’s four North American‐based Brands (Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Seabourn).
In the spirit of transparency ‐‐ and to remove all doubt about the low level of crime on cruise ships compared with comparable land‐based venues ‐‐ Carnival Corporation & plc’s North American‐based Brands have voluntarily agreed to post on this Web site allegations of crime and missing persons in the CVSSA crime reporting categories.
It is important to note that these are allegations, the majority never substantiated as actual crimes. By any measure, travel by sea aboard commercial cruise lines is exceptionally safe. The rate of crime on cruise ships is substantially lower than corresponding rates on land, according to independent research experts.
