Carnival Media Alert: Carnival Splendor, Australia's Newest & Largest Home Ported Ship Now Open For Sale

Today, Carnival Cruise Line announced Carnival Splendor's 2019 sailings are now open for sale.
 
This news marks the chance for Aussie cruise lovers to be the very first guests to sail on Australia's newest and largest home-ported ship as she sails in local waters for the first time.
 
Fares are currently available for cruises departing between 25 November 2019 and 28 December 2019.
 

These sailings offer the opportunity to sail on Carnival Splendor immediately after she receives her significant dry dock in Singapore where she'll be given some of the features Australian passengers love the most, including a range of new dining experiences tailored to the local tastes of Aussie guests and a brand-new waterpark.
 
Fun-loving families and couples can choose from the following:

• Sail on Carnival Splendor from Singapore to Sydney as she repositions to Australia. This sailing offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in different hot spot locations such as Benoa (Denpasar), Darwin and Komodo Island (Indonesia), and experience unforgettable shore excursions, including white water rafting down the Ayung River or discovering Komodo Dragons.
• The choice of three sailings from Sydney to the beautiful South Pacific islands of New Caledonia where they can snorkel in incredible coral reefs or experience a boating adventure to the picturesque Brush Island.

With this exciting announcement, Aussies can book a fun-filled family holiday and soak up the summer sun on the 290-metre long Carnival Splendor, that if tipped on her stern would stretch more than 40 metres above the observation deck of Sydney Tower, the city's tallest building. With a gross tonnage of 113,300 tonnes, Carnival Splendor is equivalent in tonnage to 98 Manly ferries.
