| 4. | How was Così started? | | | Così is based on a small Parisian sandwich cafe that our founders brought to America from Paris, France and opened their first restaurant in NYC. They also brought with them the 2000 year old recipe for our signature hearth baked flatbread originally produced by the Romans.

As of March 2, 2012, we have restaurants (company-owned and franchise) located in seventeen states, including California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia.

| 6. | Where did Così get its name? | | | It’s from Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte, the favorite opera of the original owner and founder of the Cosi restaurant in Paris, France. |

Così is working closely with experienced multi-unit restaurant concept operators to open more restaurants and expand our presence into a national restaurant company.
