Republic Airways Reports a 51% Increase in October 2006 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2006--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for October 2006. The company generated 600 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 51% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 843 million, a 45% increase. Block hours were 51,607 in October 2006, a 33.5% increase over October 2005. Load factor was 71.1% versus 68.0% in October 2005. A total of 1,171,421 passengers were carried during the month, a 51.4% increase over the same month last year.
